"History, Memory, Politics: Voices From Belarus, Georgia, Kosovo, Russia, Ukraine, & Turkey" - Conference in NYC

The Transregional Center for Democratic Studies (TCDS) at The New School for Social Research in New York is excited to announce a very special conference-- History, Memory, Politics: Voices from Belarus, Georgia, Kosovo, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, & Turkey -which will take place on Friday, December 16th, from 9:30am-8pm.

The conference will highlight the work of this years Global Dialogues Fellows at TCDS and feature a Keynote Address by Prof. Jeffrey Olick, Professor of Sociology and History and Chair of the Sociology Department at the University of Virginia. Panel presentations will be commented on by New School faculty including this years Global Dialogues Program Faculty Advisors, Prof. Dmitri Nikulin and Prof. Aaron Jakes.

The conference is free and open to the public and will be followed by a dinner reception.
